Calibre Mining Corp. is a Canadian mid-tier gold producer. The Company has a pipeline of development and exploration opportunities across Newfoundland and Labrador in Canada, Nevada and Washington in the United States, and Nicaragua. It owns several operational open-pit and underground mines, two milling facilities (the El Limon and La Libertad mines), and a portfolio of exploration and development opportunities in Nicaragua, Central America. In addition to its mining operations in Nicaragua, it also engaged in the exploration and development of several concessions at its 100%-owned Eastern Borosi Gold-Silver Project (EBP), which includes the Eastern Borosi Mines (EBM). RE:RE:"Ignore"In fact, I was reading an article on Maduro in Venezuela.  The author said that Maduro was at the crossroads: be like Ceauescu or be like Ortega.  It can actually be the latter, then the former.  So,  interesting that you picked up on that comparison.  Of course, there are other options for dictators.  I think the richest woman in Angola moved to Dubai or someplace with her loot.  CXB shareholders are ok for now but the situation is not stable.  Either Ortega invites in Chinese, for example, or they fall.  Either way CXB's tenure on gold properties belongs to.... who?  Management knows this, hence the big diversification outside Nicaragua.  Some of the most active pumpers on this board are playing down the risk although whether it is just to calm their own minds or to try to lure others to buy-in, I don't know.  Certainly you get a lot of pushback if you post something contrary to their gospel here.
