YFIs` IP assets boasting an undeniable competitive edge? Unleashing Wi-Fi 10Xs the speed and half the latency for ALL devices, whether legacy or cutting-edge boasts just that.
But could it prove out to be true? This forum has patiently waited for a self appointed expert that could shed light on this exact question by forwarding his comparison between this IP asset class against major semiconductor players, but we have yet to receive a formal response.
This eccentric expert remains somewhat of a mystery on the Global Wi-Fi stage. However, by his own admission we know he likes to design webs out of whatever type of shelter he abides in, and spend some of his leisure time thwapping deer flies. Hmmm!
Hence, until he provides concrete proof refuting such boasts by YFI, we are forced to go by the assumption that no other approach offers such promise for deployed and future networks.
As an aside, a well known "gad about town," failed stand up comic, and questionable truth teller has been spreading rumors that this technology doesn`t come close to providing the service performance that a company like Plume does. It is a novel argument considering that it is not considered a major semiconductor player.
However, the assertions from this joker were summed up perfectly from a well known wi-fi expert when he stated:
"This sounds like the whiz kid gambler that got booted out of a casino in Vegas arguing with the pit boss that his lone one ace trumped the 3 aces in the hand of the dealer. He kept screaming out that any dumbazz knows that poker is just like wi-fi in that one single radio channel always beats out 3 of the same channels from the same radio."
