I did not say that Talisker needed this property or deal with Westhaven.
What I said was, to me, the deal appears lop-sided.
I firmly believe that a better deal for Talisker was 
more than possible.

Your argument lacks solid reasoning.
Just because a purchaser can only afford 'x'
does definitely not mean that the sale price should then become 'x'.
If the value is 'x+y' then Talisker should have hammered out a better deal to also achieve the missing 'y' value in addition to the 'x' value.
