And furthermore,

And furthermore,my research has focused upon how climate change will affect mining operations and perhaps more importantly affect metal prices.  However just tonight I read about the extreme drought in Sicily –

“… Sicily is experiencing a historic water crisis in which just 150 millimeters (5.9 inches) of rainfall dropped on the island over the last six months of 2023. A European record temperature of 48.8 degrees Celsius (119.8 degrees Fahrenheit) was recorded in the Mediterranean in 2021, and Sicily is the most populous island in the region. At this point, 70% of the land is at risk of desertification, according to the Italian National Research Council.”

Farmers forced to abandon fields as drought threatens to wipe out centuries-old practices: 'This is a ticking time bomb' (msn.com)

Demonstrating that climate change is global and will impact civilization in a myriad of ways, but none of them good.   Climate change isn’t something we can put off until it’s more convenient to address.  It must obey the Laws of Physics and isn’t happening at the rate of our preparedness.
