The CEO presents himself as the sole owner of a share self-service shop that grants certain advantages himself and to a special group of people and institutions. The small investors are completely left out, as they have no say whatsoever. This is unusual worldwide and is due to Canadian stock exchange rules. One could assume that Art Halleran switched to the Canadian stock exchanges for this reason and because of his friendship with special investors.
