RE:PRG is paying out Dividends

RE:PRG is paying out Dividends
The key takeaway that I took from PRG's HKEX announcement is that it is an interim semi-annual dividend. This implies that there may be two payments each year. If so, then MJS would be entitled to receive 70.5% on over US$15 million over the course of a year and subsequently redistribute this to its shareholders, such as us.

Neither you nor I really know the intricacies behind the IPO other than what was formally announced. As I have theorized in the past, my non-qualified opinion is that having a HKEX listing helped establish a stronger tie between MJS to its PRG subsidiary with roots in the PRC in order to better faciliate the capital movement out of China to Hong Kong and to Canada. The timing of MJS finally issuing a dividend post-IPO suggests to me that management is able to get free cash flow out of China to Canadian shareholders which is a huge positive. If it means welcoming in new shareholders to receive value, then I am happy with such arrangement if it ultimately leads to having a small piece of an even bigger pie so to speak.
