RE:RE:It’s allllllll talk
I've invested and lost money in other biotechs with good ideas (not as good as Dr. McFarland's) where the ceo and leadership were slick but doing the job as a job. Getting paid, buying some small amounts here and there....and then closing down with nice payout for themselves.
I'd like to hope that an asset TLT has going for it is the motivation on the part of RDW and Dr.M. RDW is heavily invested and has been crushed by the OSC for doing dumb stuff in the past. He founded TLT and has been there all along. He has been subjected to heavy internet and general criticism.
I hope that all this lights a fire to find the cash to get the job done. Go to those investor meetings and find someone with a few million and sell the science! This is his legacy and what he wants to be remembered for.
Having said that the fact that he is so motivated and has not succeeded so far in getting more than trivial amounts of money is confusing. Is he that bad at the management side of things when it comes to getting cash? Is he so controlling of his baby the he refuses to go for offers until he gets one that gives him what he wants without losing any control? I wish I knew.
Regardless, I do believe he is motivated to keep going and that there is no/low chance of TLT folding with that much great science going on under its roof.
This is just a ramble. Have a great long weekend everyone.
