RE:RE:RE:RE:Dividend stocks coming back in a big way Enbridge really isn't all that expensive... $54 cad for a near 7% dividend that grows yearly. Maybe people think it should be cheaper because it's transporting fossil fuels and that's apparently going away. Clearly I don't think that's happening, at least not as fast as some might think.
Yes energy infrastructure is a basic necessity, even more so than a toll road, people need it to live. The stock price for ENB is still cheap IMO. Pipelines in the ground are an asset that aren't easily replaced. Plus Enbridge is investing in the green energy. I'm a big fan of the idea of producing biogas from waste and I believe it's going to be a significant source of energy in the future. It will also need to be transported. Go ENB go.
