There is NO Information Leak, these are just top line summaries so that the flying public.. as in AC customers can also digest the facts.. Good Stuff. For sure, the people of Canada and the Government will all want to give so much more..

Of course there was an information leak.  This is the very definition of bad faith bargaining - leaking select tidbits with no real fact.  Labour law says companies can't do this but it will slide by due to it being an "anonymous" source.  As if.  Standard ops for large corps - saw the same thing with CN/CPKC - dole out a few numbers about what a few top level employees might be able to make under ideal conditions and imply it's the same for all employees.

The people of Canada and the government have nothing to do with what a private corporation and it's employees come up with for a contract - we're not talking about a public service union here.

Nothing in this leak reassures me.  The last actions by the NDP make government intervention much less likely and greatly increase the odds of a work stoppage.
