RE:RE:RE:RE:thundering silenceHello buckswild,
Greetings from Germany.  My short reply to your question is, to me, it seems to be "backed" into the system, meaning, it was always a problem, just worse today with the advent of "Algos."  I "see" a lot happening throughout the sector in the different companies that I own.  I am not a lawyer, so I can not say definitively, that something is being "manipulated" or not.  The other side might argue, it is being "managed," "we are providing liquidity," etc...  I do not like it, and my pockets are not deep enough to do anything about it, or against it.  I confronted a stockbroker some two months ago, about "front - running" clients, and they listened intently, as I had documented everything, with time and date stamps, etc... I even thought, someone at the business was trading privately, while at work, in this case, driving my purchase price of the stock up.  They told me, we understand what you are saying, even going so far as to acknowledge the possibility, but, while still being friendly and cordial (as they wanted to keep me as a customer), they pretty much finished our telephone conversation with, try proving it in a man world system "court of law."  They even implied, that they have a legal department for these types of things, insurance also...  I understood, and have in the mean time, learned how to better protect myself.  If a stock I like gets driven down too much, and I have the cash, I just buy the dip.  When large money comes into the stock, the shorts, managers/manipulators, will get "blown out of the water."  In English, I think it is called, best to apply, "patience is a virtue."
Regards,
JamesF
