dominic left 1.5 year ago, so his "set up" was a bankrupt company with huge debt a little cash. the new team CEO has done a great job, paid off the debt, has kept production cost lower.
i think you dont understand the hedging so go back to sleep. put options are insurance policies and no one buys them thinking they will have to use them. the old hedge book is garbage and i think the previous cfo was sacked in the start of this year?
no junior pays dividend; they all reinvest in exploration or do M&A of other assets that are lower caps. there is a huge disconnect in gold prices and share valuations of juniors, so still a lot of good lower price good assets out there to acquire.
