Competitive bidding is the right and smart way

Competitive bidding is the right and smart wayThis quote below is from the article regarding Coldeco's recent bid for a 10% stake in a Chili copper mine operated by Teck Resources. Looks like the people behind Nevada Copper are going through this in-court (supervised) sale transaction the smart and right way, to ensure fair and competitive bidding for all. Companies with great copper assets would be shooting themselves in the foot by selling in a "friendly" deal. How do you know if you get the best price if you only make the assets available to a select few?

"Sonami has said any sale should be done through an open and competitive process."
