RE:Disturbances or full strike ?

I think that ALPA guys are smarts and they will avoid a full strike which would be a dead end for them. For sharehorders, many days of disturbances would be worst option.
Company would likely just lock them out if ALPA signalled willingness to go down that road. I'm sure that's part of the impetus for a proactive shutdown.
