Theralase Technologies Inc. is a Canada-based clinical-stage pharmaceutical company. The Company is engaged in the research and development of light activated compounds and their associated drug formulations. The Company operates through two divisions: Anti-Cancer Therapy (ACT) and Cool Laser Therapy (CLT). The technology has been used off-label for healing numerous nerve, muscle and joint conditions. The Company develops products both internally and using the assistance of specialist external resources.

Patent Status

16/608,558 | T1081/20075:

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PHOTOACTIVATING NUCLEAR RECEPTORS

This patent application was given an 'extension of time' status back in June. after a non-final rejection.
An examiner has once again reviewed it and on 2024/09/06 it was given a "Final Rejection" status. That suggests the Company will have to review the examiners reasons (usually within 90 days) and then decide if they wish to revise and return for review. In the meantime it is on the shelf.
