HPQ Silicon Inc V.HPQ

Alternate Symbol(s):  HPQFF

HPQ Silicon Inc. (HPQ) is a Canada-based technology company specializing in green engineering of silica and silicon-based materials. The Company is engaged in developing, with the support of technology partners PyroGenesis Canada Inc. (PyroGenesis) and Novacium SAS, new green processes to make the critical materials needed to reach net zero emissions. Its activities are centered around the three pillars: becoming a green low-cost (Capex and Opex) manufacturer of Fumed Silica using the Fumed Silica Reactor, a proprietary technology owned by HPQ being developed for HPQ by PyroGenesis; becoming a producer of silicon-based anode materials for battery applications with the assistance of Novacium SAS, and Novacium SAS is engaged in developing a low carbon, chemical base on demand and high-pressure autonomous hydrogen production system. The Company operates in a single operating segment, segment, being the sector of the transformation of quartz into silicon materials and derivative products.

RE:This Small Cap Believes Multiple LOIs Are Coming

That is certainly an interesting piece of information. Comparing the higher quality commercially available batteries to the testing results of their own material.

Maybe as things continue evolving, they will provide graphical comparisons against those batteries as opposed to the traditional graphite that are not the best performing and that everyone is trying to move away from. To use an NFL analogy, maybe more impressive to highlight beating a Super Bowl champion than the team that made the playoffs as a wild card.  Who knows, maybe it would resonate more with some investors and battery world stakeholders. I could be wrong though.

Interesting interview coincidentally commenting on some of the thoughts I shared.

i guess I was wrong in commenting that the results were not a surprise and were predictable.  BT did not feel that to be the case.  I guess there was that possibility that the GEN3 degradation could have suddenly tanked below GEN1 so I was wrong in making my statement by looking at all the prior results.  However, while things are not predictable, BT seems confident that GEN3 is the way to go compared to GEN1 and GEN2 going towards 200 cycles and beyond....as he essentially deacribed the graph like I did in my earlier post. Given that things are not predictable it will be interesting to see whether we will get the 200, 250, 300 cycle results for all three generations.  Based on all the snippets, this is a realistic expectation, but I would be surprised.

I think we have seen 50 cycles done within 2 weeks so talking about the next 50 cycle results within 7 to days is feasible and then we will see the results of that. I will not be surprised and while we may not get the lines for all three generations, I am predicting that the GEN3 degradation at 200 cycles will not dip below GEN1 at 150 cycles. I should not make that prediction and I should be surprised if I am correct...I guess.

Listen to the interview. It is interesting.  ;-)  Half an hour though...because it seems like it is 30-ish minutes or none.
