RE:Centamin Ashanti

With a gold price continuing to rise and sustainable now, it's no coincidence we are seeing more M&A activity.   As resources are deleted by the mid to larger tier miners and considering the length of time required for permitting and building a new mine, it is much easier to just buy out an already producing miner.  Buying a miner with producing mines in a safe jurisdiction like Canada is even better.  NGD is very much an acquisition target if I ever saw one. If no buyout by eoy 2024 then my guess is NGD will start the acquisition hint of its own considering it has a decent cash on its books plus second half 2024 should see NGD hit its stride on FCFP windfall.  It's AISC are expected to come down too.  Even better.

We are seeing a few recent M&A deals at anywhere from 35 percent premium of higher.  Hopefully NGD starts showing big strides on its qtrly results which will help drive the premiums we get here even higher.   We should get that easily today or closer to 50 percent imo.  Give us 6 months to a year and this is an easy double.

Give us a "gold mania phase" and you get to $10 in the blink of an eye.  Gold is the place to be these days imo.
