Yep...and based on all of the data/research performed to date re: ruthenium-based compounds, it's not unreasonable to conclude that systemic Rutherrin (activated by x-ray/metformin) could potentially replace platinum-based chemo (i.e. cisplatin) as the first-line SOC for multiple cancer types, including its current use for more advanced stages of bladder cancer.
It's hard to believe that cisplatin (the first generation of platinum-based chemo) has been the primary go-to chemotherapeutic for so many cancer types since "1978". I feel its reign may be coming to an end soon, & we seem well-positioned to be one of the (if not "the") first in line to take over...JMO.
