Think of SEI as a finance company that invests/speculates in O&G acreage. Their goal is to farm out, as they have done, have little to no monetary requirements, let the major de-risk the property and sell their W.I. before the acreage gets to production. As they sell off the W.I. in each property, return the capital to the shareholders via dividend, or script (stock) of the purchaser if that is how it was bought. Rinse and repeat with each Namibian asset. Shareholders would still hold their full positions, however the stock price would re-rate for the sale of the asset.
