Solid leadership team?

Solid leadership team? What amazes me, and continues to amaze me, is how often analysts, Eric Nuttall et al, continue to tout the leadership team as solid.

I can't believe I continue to hear and read about the merits of the Baytex management as they plod along, don't bother paying down any debt no matter what the price of oil is, continually fail to meet expectations on a quarterly basis, and the share price continues to wallow in the depths while others rise or at least hold their own.

It's baffling to say the least and I'm not being overly harsh - a trader's dream and a value investor's nightmare.
