RE:Estimated 200,000 ounces of gold in Deer Cove Talc deposit After exhaustive research, I have found only one other talc deposit that contains gold and that is in the Negev Desert of Egypt .
Zilch everywhere else .
The Deer Cove talc is world class because of its source and whiteness.
Among the thousands of use for refined talc is the emerging use of talc as a whiteness agent and world class hardener in making Portland cement.
Cement is basically crushed stone and gravel and a hardener...silica ..
With gold as a by product credit, Deer Cove talc replacing silica in cement products will out compete any other producer.
The cement industry is huge.
We already have the crushed stone , sand and gravel at Point Rousse, a deep water port and 55,000 ton Panamax ore carriers.
Mining talc is basically excavation and transport .
Its a potent business combo imo.
I think this is why, for the first time, that Maritime has mentioned the Deer Cove talc deposit containing
gold credits .
If my logic holds, we may have a substantial cash cow in Deer Cove talc.
