RE:RE:Closing UP Friday September 13Pierre said "This morning I contacted my broker (CIBC) asking for confirmation that BPO preferred shares were in fact trading ex-dividend today since their quotes did not reflect the reduction of the dividend."

Pierre, these are PREFER SHARES not Common Shares!!!!!    Paying a dividend on a Prefer Share shouldn't affect the "value" of the share that much.    Value of the share is based on ALL FUTURE dividends (yield), NOT the value of the company.

Common shares, now that's different.  "Value" of common share is in part based on value of the company.  Pay a dividend, value of the company drops by the dividend amount.

My goodness.

Good luck in getting any answers.....  I spent basically a year trying to get answers..... I'm still basically clueless on this company. Gave up.     Moved onto hopefully bigger, better prospects.
