DBL - Zone 3 ProspectGeological setting: The country rock is comprised of mafic/intermediate volcanics and is weakly foliated with distinct (<1m wide) shear zones. Quartz veining occurs oblique to the regional structure and veins have a strike of ~80 degrees and a steep dip. The veins located at the property are believed to be a result of the lateral movement of one rock surface against another, also known as shearing, indicating the presence of an Archean lode-gold type deposit.
