RE:RE:My theory on the investmentI believe the lender did not want to take over the company as they wanted it to remain public. It helps them monetize their investment in the future beyond the 2 year term.
No doubt they see tremendous value in the company and the very favorable terms are there for Harris as well to monetize maximum value for his holdings with a 2 year timeframe. It's up to him to see if he can get the shares above .34 and or pay off the loan. Nonetheless he will likely get his $1.4M performance bonus as well. Good for him as he can retire with a nest egg, the size in which he has considerable control.
