The rate cut with more to come will spark renewed inflation via govt spending renewed QE and easier consumer credit - but this inflation has to work its way through the pipeline culminating in the higher production costs of goods and subsequent rising consumer prices that won't be felt by the masses until well into next year.

Then its game on. Fed credibility will crash. The dollar will be having fits going into a tailspin spurred on by international disdain for the dollar, and as for gold - rising steadily as we get there, will then be moved to the launch pad for take-off.
