Michael C. Burns, Chairman and CEO back then said: “Joe Houssian has a proven track record in development and project management and is widely recognized for his ability to transform ideas into operational and profitable enterprises. We are fortunate to gain his interest, commitment and guidance.”
Mr. Houssian added, “The offshore wind project has enormous, long-term potential. The management team have already accomplished a great deal including aligning with industry leaders, experts and First Nations. I am eager to work with their team to develop Canada’s first offshore wind project.”
Joseph has contributed funds to the company $700,000 in 2014. If anyone would be interested in windfarm development it's Joe.
17 years later, the economics and footprint of the project have improved. The demand for renewable energy was identified many years ago and remains strong.
The patience required for this project was incredible. People on both sides of the debate. Cultural and Hecate Strait ecological issues were and remain paramont.
I wish the above won't be forgotten if a business opportunity is pursued. Economic viability of the project must be shown. Money has to be borrowed, interest rates move up and down,.
I still await the consent form from the company. TSXV requires that shareholders be "fully informed" however that is defined.
