Cardinal Energy Ltd. is a Canadian oil and natural gas company with operations focused on low decline oil in Western Canada. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, development, optimization and production of crude oil and natural gas in the provinces of Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan. Its South District operating area is located east of Calgary in southeastern Alberta and produces medium gravity crude, as well as liquids-rich natural gas. Its Central District operation is located in East Central Alberta, which is focused on producing oil from multiple, large OOIP pools. Its North area includes Grande Prairie, Clearwater and other properties.

Whether or not US producers suffering from already low commodity pricing follow his lead is debatable

Well,  actually it's not.  Total rig counts are down in the US YTD by 17%.  Why? 

Because they're not making money.  Greed trumps politics everytime.  It even trumps trump.

Speaking of greed the payout is actually over 11%.

You're only off by 1% or so but it's funny that it seems to be about the same amount that Harris leads trump in the polls so maybe you're off about that too.

Frankly, I am as worried about the one thing happening that you mentioned as the the other.

That is to say, not.
