Almonty Industries Inc. is a Canada-based company, which is engaged in the mining, processing and shipping of tungsten concentrate, as well as the exploration and evaluation of its projects. The Company operates through four segments: Los Santos Mine, Panasquiera Mine, Valtreixal Project, and Woulfe. The Los Santos Mine is located in Spain whose operations relate to the exploration and mining of Tungsten. The Panasqueira Mine is located in Covilha Castelo Branco, Portugal, whose operations relate to the exploration and mining of tungsten, as well as the production of copper and tin concentrate by-products. The Valtreixal Project is located in Spain whose operations relate to the exploration and evaluation activities of the Valtreixal tin/tungsten project. Woulfe’s properties are located in Gangwon Province, Republic of Korea. The Woulfe's operations relate primarily to the exploration, evaluation and development of the Sangdong Project.

Help out a newbie to this name. Who is velocity? Never heard of it/them.

Velocity is house 55 on the TSX through which there has been steady selling of Almonty stock for at least all of this year putting up 50K shares for sale on and off almost on a daily basis.

In an Agust 2022 NR the CEO stated this:

As for the recent stock activity, I want assure all shareholders that the Company is on track, and we will make the third utilisation request shortly to KFW. We are aware of some unusually aggressive selling from a European based individual/group who is not part of our core group.

At the latest IIF in April of this year the CEO stated this:

"As the major shareholder I am very dissapointed in what's going on with our share price but I'm also aware of what'g going on and if that person is watching, you can't stop a rising tide. So you can carry this on as long as you think you can but at some point its not gonna work. I am a great believer in the truth will set you free and our progress will dwarf any shenanegans any individuals think they can carry on right now"

Later in that same presentation the CEO states:

"Bare with me, let me get rid of a certain person that's making a little trouble for all of us on our stock once that's gone I think I will be more comfortable in lifting my komono"

In a previous IIF presentation the CEO also mentions that the seller is a holdout from the Woulfe mining days that was not happy with Almonty buying the Sangdong mine

As mentioned in my earlier post none of this ultimately matters as positive news will naturally take care of the stock price.
