Patents, like ‘goodwill’ are subjective - their value is determined by the company itself. While they may consider them of value - it doesn't mean the valuation the company itself determines is fair or reasonable.
As in Tilrats case - inflated valuations on goodwill and IP have resulted in misleading reporting.
If you think Tilray is the only cannabis company holding patents, you're naive and foolish.
No doubt Medmen held patents - what are they worth now?
Nothing - no one wants -or needs- them, they are valueless.
