TotalEnergies has pinned down the size of the first floating production, storage and offloading vessel it will need to exploit its huge Venus oil discovery offshore Namibia, but is still grappling with the costly issue of how to best handle its associated gas, according to top executives at the company.

To improve the project economics, the French supermajor may consider approaching the Namibian government in due course about securing potential adjustments to the project's original fiscal terms, an approach that it has adopted at offshore projects elsewhere.

Namibia’s authorities estimate that Venus holds about 2 billion barrels of recoverable oil — out of 5 billion barrels of in-place resource — as well as substantial quantities of gas.

don't have access to the whole article but they do state 2billion recoverable out of 5 billion of oil in place!  So Mopane at 10 billion oip would have 4 billion recoverable barrels!
