The TRP explanation clearly explained the linkage between TRP and the SOBO spinoff shares for the period Sept 25 (market open) to Oct 1 (market close).

Selling TRP during that period entitled the buyer to receive the spinoff SOBO shares.

That explains why the TRP share price dropped on the Oct 2 market open ... cuz they were trading ex SOBO.
