If we are fair about the topic of legalization we have to acknowledge that even the forum chatter in the subject has tapered off from the biggest of cannabis Bulls. I am steadfast that it will occur due to where we are on the state level and what I read on additional states moving in the same direction. The process of getting there is another story and testing the patience of many.
Another reality is that we do likely have a number of daytraders that have little to no interest in the sector or commiting to any individual stock. It would not shock me if many are simply playing whack a mole with their buy and sell buttons based on which stock appears to be trending up for the day.
Personally I'm not giving up on my view that the US will legalize. I believe it's the right thing to do and that the majority of the US is in favor of it.
My approach to the sector has always been long-term so no whack a mole for me.
