If you look at the 52 week high compared to last closing price does it rough out to 98% ?

The last time you commented it was 980%

If you are struggling with percentages then don't bother trying to understand the fundamentals that use ratios.  

Just helping you save yourself some time here.

As for Tilray's acquisitions, would you prefer they pay more for larger companies ?  

By purchasing companies with solid products for cheap (super cheap) they get to keep the components that work for them and sell off the rest.  The monies taken in from such sales again goes against the cost to purchase. 

The cost / benefit analysis is typically covered (to some degree) in press releases but you can always run your own
