BMO re Q3 Production, K & K

BMO re Q3 Production, K & KQ3 Production - Phase 3 Drives Another Record for
Kamoa-Kakula
Bottom Line:
Ivanhoe Mines released strong Q3 production results (in line with our estimates)
highlighted by record copper in concentrate production of 116,313t from Kamoa Kakula.
Year-to-date production stands at 303,328t with an annual guidance decreased to
425-450,000t from 440-490,000t reflecting grid power issues earlier in the year that
have now been resolved with backup and imported power. We see no long-term
impact to Kamoa Kakula from today’s guidance decrease, and we expect record
performances in Q4 as Phase 3 concentrator ramp-up progresses to steady state.
