RE:The illegal marketDamn straight it is! A proper Federal legalization effort is blocked by the high stakes played by the Cartels and Gangs.
There is lots of politickin' about legalization but all of these bills just keep getting queered despite that voters are mostly in favour of the legal businesses for quality and safety issues plus variety.
That is the only thing that makes sense. Even Trump would play the pot legalization card in desperation to complete his dictatorship effort but he already had a taste of what the Cartels are thinking. He must have struck a deal with them on the pot legalization issue because he isn't going anywhere near it, nor Kamala.
At one time I was convinced that it would make it to the ballot for the Presidential election to the benefit of whichever party backed it but now I have more conviction than ever that I am right.
The only way to do it is to invite the black market to get on board with legal pot and cannabinoids.
I am surprised that they are still smuggling pot across the Southern border according to "How to catch a drug smuggler" reporting.
The market is still there and growing and for what the legal market brings seems to be a no-brainer to me for safety and variety of skus for my consumption!
