Regarding your two main issues ... briefly:

#1 I understand and share your observations re and avoidance of pill prescribers ... use doctors judiciously as needed ... and I also avoid popping pills ... only have 1 prescription that have been on for 10+ years as recommended by an endocrinologist doc in Thailand ... and no ... it isn't viagra ... lol!

#2 Also understand your contempt for the UN political system in general ... as mentioned I was employed by an International Agricultural Research Institute under the UN umbrella for protection but we were independently funded directly by donor agencies, and evaluated on the basis of our performance and track record.

Re wealth accumulation ... I guess you could say that I went to Africa to do good ... and I did well! All honestly earned ... not like the current gang of crooks in charge in our nation's capital. Seriously, we lived frugally in Africa, paid no taxes (legally cuz of UN coverage), and invested wisely ... so yeah ... seems unbelievable ... but sh!te happens as they say ... bad stuff and good stuff.

I left Canada in 1981 during Turdo 1.0 and returned to Canada in 2017 during Turdo 2.0 ... that has been a source of constant irritation ... but ... these days I am more content ... as I see the light at the end of the tunnel ... and that light is a fully loaded freight train named Team Common Sense and it is bearing down full speed on a collision course with Team Turdo.
