Can NFG make up for lower grade with greater vein widths 12 July 2023. Quinton Hennigh Crescat video, Fosterville was composed of mostly 1/2 to 2 meters of high grade gold veins. NFG is mostly 3, 4 or 5 meters of high grade gold veins. Swan Zone Mineral Reserve doubles to over a million ounces at 61.2 g/t. I recall QH saying that the swan zone veins were so narrow they had to widen the opening to enable the machinery gain access hence the difference between 60g/t to under 40g/t being mined because of wast rock, also worth noting NFG wouldn't have wast rock because their vein system are wider, so even if their grades are less than the Swan this can be made up for by the extra width of the veins being mined without wast rock. Also worth noting if the veins are so narrow at Swan, most of the TW drill results reported don't mean much if it's only the nuggety high grade portion of the drill intercepts are being mined.
