DTEA's new store in Montreal's Royalmount is next to SBUX's

DTEA's new store in Montreal's Royalmount is next to SBUX'sDAVIDsTEA (DTEA) new store in Royalmount mega mall is next to Starbucks', both stores are located at Level 2.

Given that SBUX is very popular with too many visitors daily, SBUX's customers will also have the chance to visit DTEA's store and get more familiar with its excellent tea blends that stand out from the crowd. And/or they can go to DTEA's store when SBUX's store is full.

So this is a very strategic location that is expected to help DTEA increase significantly its revenue in Q3 and Q4 2024 compared to prior year period.

Moreover, DTEA is expected to significantly increase its revenue in Q3 2024 compared to prior year period based on the company's recent early guidance that shows strong revenue YoY growth of 18%:


Sales momentum continues into the early third quarter with revenues up more than 18% compared to the same period in 2023. On top of this, there is one more DTEA store opening in the Eaton Center mall in downtown Montreal  in early November that is expected to further increase the company's revenue in Q4 2024 (November, December, January) compared to prior year period.
