Was the Ranger purchase worth the price paid?

The price paid (and debt incurred) to buy Ranger was thought to be justified by the notion that Baytex could use superior technology to get a lot more bang per buck out of Eagle Ford than Ranger did. This assumption has turned out to be false, in my opinion..

They paid to much for the reserves they got.Management only cared about keeping thier fat checks and bonuses intact. When we go in to a recession, and we will, Oil possibly goes into the 50s, Theirs not of enought reserves to recover from the price they paid. This management team is the most incompetent team in North America.I never seen a company so deserving of a proxy fight.BTE board of director prove you can't fix stupid,Bte only hope, is what Isreal going to do to Iran.
