I am thankful to have found (1) BPO prefs close to their troughs, (2) this BB, which -- through you and Pierre, in particular -- has provided valuable perspectives that have kept me both overallocated and very profitable. I'm also thankful to Crazy for selling me his Es at circa $12.50 and for reminding me (on the daily) that Mr Market is irrational, Mr IlliquidMarket is nuts, and Mr. IlliquidPrefMarket is absolutely bonkers.
As an aside, I bought a whack of BRE on Pierre's reco (thanks!) and see that Cormark just initiated coverage with a buy reco and $17 PT. AFAIK, this brings the analyst count to 1. I view this as a massive BUY SIGN as it provides potential investors with a permission structure previously lacking. It's also interesting that BN hasn't pressed its bankers to cover, meaning Cormark may well be the first of many. (In my IB experience, coverage is highly correlated to revenues -- the Venn diagram of syndicate members to coverage is one circle.)
Back to my meal prep. Bird is spatchcocked, gotta fry some onions for green bean casserole, and potatoes need peeling for my way way way too buttery mashed.
