What is the best investment vehicle for free cash flow or indeed for any investible cash is based on many variables . Management has a much better insight into which disposition offers the best returns while at the same time preserving the integrity of our investments. Either you trust them or you don't .
If you  don't , then what to do is obvious. 

I seriously dislike that outside interests are trying to persuade management to take actions that may very well not prove to be in the long term interests of shareholders I am also happy tha VET has for the most part decided to follow their own path.

What is singularly important is that Management is creating long term shareholder value. Personally , I am convinced that is the case and I believe that anyone who is shorting VET at the same time that speculators are massively shorting the underlying commodities , is a useful idiot !!
