notes from About The Merger: Interview With Morgan LekstromIt was a paid interview.
with Morgan Lekstrom, President of NEXG
Near the beginning of the interview, he stated (on behalf of NEXG),
"We really got something with an enterprise value of $75 million for $25 million in shares"
The first priority is Goliath Feasibilty Study.
He talked about some further drilling in between the Goldwynn and Goliath properties which are 23 km apart. Also, there will likely be further drilling in Goldboro.
If all goes well, they will have shovels in the ground at Goliath in about 16 months. That depends on permits, first nations, financing.
At Goldboro they are interested in drilling the western extension some more, but that is underground and not open pit mining to increase reserves.
He talked about SGNL having Tilt Cove as a value added asset. An asset that he states is in Nova Scotia. Perhaps N.S. took over NFLD and I didn't hear. Or perhaps he doesn't know a lot about what he is talking about.
They want to focus on core projects.
Cash after the transaction. He stated $20 million. Much higher than I expected.
He speaks about the 0.6% NSR on Goldboro to Nebari for $6 million US dollars. Not in the interview, but the release says that is being contemplated. That seems very expensive to me. Good for them if they can get that. Will that $6 million if it goes through be a cash payment, or just added to the newly proposed credit facility?
He had a few things wrong. That does cause me to question what else was wrong.
