RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Very old Shell Canada News - SHELL FINALIZES TRANSACTION WIT AIMCo was not only a major shareholder of Ikkuma, but also the control debt holder:
"Ikkuma Resources Corp. (TSX-V: IKM) has completed a financing with Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo), providing for a $45.0 million second lien senior secured term loan, which bears annual interest at 7.25% and matures on March 31, 2022."
Again Pieridae purchased IKM from AIMCo and others:
“Pieridae Energy Limited (TSXV:PEA) entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Ikkuma Resources Corp. (TSXV:IKM) from Alberta Investment Management Corporation and others for approximately CAD 94.6 million on August 23, 2018. “
“In the first quarter this year, Ikkuma produced an average 19,292 boe/d of oil and natural gas from its properties in the central Alberta Foothills.
It estimates proved and probable reserves at 107 million boe.”
The license transfer from Shell to Pieridae is only related to Pieridae's southern foothills asset:
"Sorensen concluded by saying that progress is also being made for Shell and Pieridae to re-apply to the Alberta Energy Regulator (“AER”) for the license transfers of its Southern Alberta Foothills assets to Pieridae." (press release - August 12 2020 Pierdak Announces Second Quarter Results)
