Hey Frankie, thanks for the thoughts, nice to hear from you. I admittedly know very little about bitcoin. Having said that, when it had dropped to about 17000 I had contemplated initiating a position. In the end I determined I like to have more knowledge in what I am investing in so backed off, in retrospect, my loss. I am aware of Metaplanet but only through your prior mentioning.
With regards to tj and alike, it is hardly worth even making a comment. I have a reasonable handle on whats going on and have managed to muddle my way through to the stratosphere of mediocrity! My position (at times) may be somewhat different to others is all I will say.
On that note, I am readying to commence one mother of a tour starting early next week, can't wait.
Thanks again for the kind thoughts and wish you all the best, I just know you are destined to greatness!

You are most welcome bro. Yeah, I get it. I wouldn't invest in anything I don't understand either. This beast (Metaplanet) is a lot to wrap one's head around - between Bitcoin (which takes hundreds of hours of homework imho) + the concept of accretive dilution... the company is very similar to MSTR, but allows for me to borrow in JPY against my REITs (creating a yen carry trade of sorts)...
The concept of accretive dilution is a captivating one. As I mentioned, Metaplanet 3X'd NAV via 100% dilution. Crazy. And MSTR is borrowing billions sub 1% - long dated, no recourse (this alone will break the avg fixed income/reit investor's mind)... Metaplanet has not tapped debt markets to issue converts yet, but I imagine they should get favourable rates given JPY vs USD borrowing rates... CEO is quoted saying he could see lenders paying them to lend them money. Yeah, read that twice... (quote from Bitcoin 2024 conference)
You are too kind man... I really appreciate the kind words. Wish you all the very best sir. Up and to the right. Hope you are well and up to no good. Stay naughty DZ.
