RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RBCHi Chris.
I understand the JIT affect on Inventory that you are comparing to with the Bomber's delivery schedule. But you don't understand the reason or the purpose for them doing this. This excessive investment is done at a time of parts delays by the Aerostructures sector, and the supply chain delays. This will settle once the supply chain catches up. This trend is just the norn for now. There a huge cost for upfronting the Inventory as you mention for now. This is exactly why I want to see the deliveries balanced out throughout the year, and those Reserves used for things like the LTD.
Cheers

This is a concerning issue for me too. I come from the automotive industry where just in time (JIT) is a fine tuned common place practice.
I believe it was the 2nd quarter report out (memory again) where EM stated that the strike will not affect 2024 deliveries because "all those planes are in Montreal already".
I was thinking why? And really, there are 90 planes (or so) sitting on a tarmac somewhere? I was confused by that thinking it was a terrible waste of inventory dollars. And it didn't seem possible to have so many planes just parked somewhere.
So if someone has eyes on the Bombardier properties, it would be great to see if this is really the case.
Or am I imagining that exchange? LOL, I don't think so.
