OCG ExplorationUpdate: Widest Intercepts in Current Campaign

OCG ExplorationUpdate: Widest Intercepts in Current CampaignWidest Intercepts in Current Campaign + Unveiled Potential for Additional High-Grade Veins at Outcrop Silver & Gold's (OCG.v OCGSF) Jimenez Vein Exploration

Today,  Outcrop Silver & Gold (OCG.v OCGSF) provided an update on its exploration drilling at the Jimenez vein target within the Santa Ana high-grade silver project where drilling has returned some of the widest intercepts in the current campaign and revealed potential for additional parallel high-grade veins.

Drilling Highlights
  • Jimenez Vein (DH401): 0.32 metres at 1,288 grams per tonne (g/t) of silver equivalent within a 3.58 metres vein intercept at 131 g/t silver equivalent.
  • Jimenez North Vein: Newly discovered, returned 0.30 metres at 789 g/t silver equivalent, within a 2.04 metres intercept at 145 g/t silver equivalent from hole DH401.
  • Drilling has confirmed 500 metres of strike and 200 metres down dip for the Jimenez vein.

Exploration Focus and Future Plans
  • OCG is focused on testing the depth and lateral extensions of the Jimenez vein, aiming to expand resource potential.
  • High-grade zones have been confirmed, with wider veins suggesting resource expansion potential.
  • Promising results from the parallel Jimenez North vein indicate the potential for wider and high-grade intercepts.

Highlighting the potential for significant resource expansion at Jimenez, Guillermo Hernandez, OCG's Vice President of Exploration, emphasized the presence of both high-grade and broader mineralized zones, stating:

"Overall, these results confirm high-grade silver and gold mineralization at Jimenez, with several veins showing significant exploration potential based on their width. The intercepts highlight both narrow high-grade zones and broader zones of mineralization, contributing to the resource expansion potential in this vein system,"
"The consistency of wider veins at Jimenez, as expected based on our geological observations, makes us address this target as a dilational zone with some minor narrow high-grade veins striking East-West."
