Short term interest rates vs capital transaction (repost)

Short term interest rates vs capital transaction (repost)I don't think that Canadian rate declines will do much for NWH as they have only 30% floating rate debt and are looking to assets sales to bring this down.  The debt level means more than short term interest rates.

What I do think is that US rates are more important for NWH to either find a partner to invest in the Company or for an acquirer to step up to the plate.  US rates need to come down significantly and capital needs to become available for this to happen.

The asset management platform is what, in my view, will attract a wider acquirer pool.
