RE:Anyone want to fancy a guess

RE:Anyone want to fancy a guessClearly, buyers are avoiding the stock, which makes me to think that they do not like the uncertainty of it all. Once the terms of an accepted offer are known or they walk away, normal buying and selling will occur and the stock should begin to rise. At this point the offer is not reckless and Couche-Tard management do not have a reputation for being so. That said, there's not much room to increase the offer and given that they haven't even got together in the same room, my intuition tells me that Couche-Tard will have to walk away again. In two years when current management have disappointed once again they can have another go at it. Japanese culture towards business acquisitions will have to evolve further
