Who is Ucore working for? The US army/DOD.
To do what? Separate HEAVY rare earths for weapons.
Weapon fall under national defence, right?
What is going on in the world right now? China the only supplier of Heavy rare earths and heavy rare earths magnets is trying to buff it's way into taking over Taiwan. Not going to happen without a big naval fight.
New controls over the sale and export of heavy Rare earths and magnets.
China is economy going into the toilet. Yes Pip, it matter. A lot more than what Ucore did in the past.
So would DOD want Ucore to tell the world how good RSX is and what it can do to China's ace in the hold? Very, very unlikely.
The last time we heard anything about the separation of a single element and to what purity was last Feb/Mar when Pat in a video stated that RSX had separated Dy to 99.2 per cent pure. That was the last time we will hear anything about single element separation and to what purity. As long as Ucore is taking DOD money.
Get over it people. The gag is firmly in place and we will only get general statements like 60% complete.
I like magic shows. I lke to figure out how it was done. People are watching the right hand while the left hand does the trick. While we are all watching the Demo plant, what is going on in LA. A big empty hanger just sitting there or did Ucore hand a shopping list to DOD and parts with a long lead time are showing up? Money in the bank account is not the only way that DOD can fund Ucore and still get the commerial plant up and running fast.
You all know the cold war story about Titanium, right?
DOD needed Titanium and USSR was the only supplier of Titanium at that amount of tonnage. So DOD and the CIA used third party companies to buy and ship Titanium. Interesting read, if you wish to look it up.
