You most ceartainly are allowed to have your oppinions, but you should not be posting or implying you have a background in geology and then make comments like this and like ones you have. There is confirmed a confirmed petroleum system. They are just evaluating the economic feasibily and trying to located the largest traps within the system.
for reference, the orange basin you brought up feed by the same type of source rock, black and Cretaceous shale that is 1-2.3% TOC.
