With IGO drilling to start next week, you'd think that they just might hit some copper there, right!!!  Hey, why not, the Blackwater Gold mine is only 16 kms away. Could be in the same area there!!!
Here you go: Porphyry Deposits: These are large, disseminated deposits where copper and gold often coexist. Porphyry deposits form from magma that rises into the Earth's crust, cooling and solidifying over time. The fluids released as the magma cools often carry metals like copper, gold, and molybdenum. So, in porphyry systems, if you find copper, there's a good chance of finding some gold as well.
